So I’ve been absent lately. Apologies for that. I’ve been working longer hours and trying to get in actually socializing with the number of people that are moving far, far away. If you add in self-care so I don’t become a hot mess, very little time is available to continue working or stuff like social media.

Misc Life Updates: I found a place to live after my lease is up! Hooray! That’s one chunk off my plate until it’s time to move so… what’s that? Regular updates you say? Yes please.

Con Review: Midwest Geekfest was really awesome for a first year! I got to play arcade games and watch blindfolded Mortal Kombat. Added bonus for you – if you happened to see my prints through twitter or tumblr or what have you, they’re now in my store! Shiny, glossy 14 pt paper. I didn’t lick it, though I wanted to. I didn’t lick it, I swear.

Things have been pretty busy around here! My partner and I have been pretty busy telling our families the good news, which means a lot of travelling on the weekends. Add to that we’ve been looking for a house and and and. It’s been busy. It’s gonna be busy for a while longer, and I apologize for that.

Thanks for reading and commenting! The best part of week is sleeping. The second best part is when I can sneak off and work on this comic for a few hours.

By the way, if you’re in Columbia or the Mid-Missouri region, you should come to MidWest Geek Fest on April 20th! It’s free for everybody, and I’ll be hosting some workshops and some other stuff. You can also grab some schwag that I’ll have at my table and maybe play a pickup game of “We Didn’t Playtest This At All” or “Cards against Humanity.” I’m very personable and I don’t smell weird, promise.

Holy jeegus. I’m sorry I missed a week, guys. Missouri has super crazy weather (low 20s one day, high 80s the next) and I could not keep up with my migraines, guys. Pretty much all my energy was spent working and trying to find a house.

It’s been a rough few weeks, but it’s getting better. I’ve got some great news of legal things that have finally wrapped up, and some super great personal news, the latter of which will be revealed at a later date.

One thing I can say is that I’ll be in another Survival anthology, illustrating a story done by the very lovely Wes Locher, (seriously, I hope you like his shorts as much as I do). And, if you happen to live in Missouri, I will be at MidWest Geek Fest next month! So hooray, progress!

There are a lot of terrible things going on, but we’re all in this together. Take another soma, will you?
